We hope you enjoyed the workshop and found it beneficial.

The workshop was based around Professor Cooper’s books.  The themes are Pluralistic Counselling and Psychotherapy (Cooper and McLeod, 2011) and Existential Psychotherapy and Counselling: Contributions to a Pluralistic Practice (Cooper, 2015).  This later book also has a companion website, which can be accessed by clicking here.  To order a copy from Amazon click here.

There is a large amount of material on Professor Cooper online and the main webpage for the event included links to two contributions on existential psychotherapy and pluralistic practice:

Professor Cooper has provided an extensive but, he insists, not exhaustive annotated bibliography relating to existential therapy.  To download, click here.  Please do not feel obliged to read it all!

As promised at the event, the link below gives access to a 50 minute recording of Ernesto Spinelli explaining his approach to Existential psychotherapy.  There is a little feedback on the track but the quality is still quite good.

If you have problems accessing the file through Soundcloud then please try the link below, which uses a player on the website.

Apologies to the students who were expecting more on pluralistic practice!

We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Best wishes,

Jonathan Lloyd
